As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it(e)But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast, with our community of 66 million users in 17 countries saving more than 172 million meals from going to waste(e)We are incredibly proud of this, but there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.

We are now looking for an exceptional Head of Global B2B Communications to join the global superstar team at Too Good To Go in Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin or Paris


Your mission
In today's world, especially in light of the challenges that the inflationary crisis presents to all of us, we need to diversify our areas of action to increase the power of our initiatives and messages(e)Therefore, we are looking for a B2B communications expert who is passionate about exploring new communication channels and integrating them into public relations work(e)This position reports directly into our VP of Communications. 

Your role

  • Help us build the basics to do outstanding work around B2B Comms: Create, adapt and socialise a B2B comms strategy: Define processes, goals, standards, plans and tactics for us to really be able to communicate about all the amazing things we do with our partners. 
  • Provide business/creative communications expert consultancy, developing and executing integrated plans that align communications with business goals(e)Keep an eye on what’s happening in society to always be able to think ahead and engage proactively.
  • Develop story ideas, research, and thought leadership that builds a brand profile, using data to build narratives with greater impact and oriented to support business goals.
  • Build close relationships with key business partners (KAs and independent business teams, social media and PR teams, etc), business leaders and B2B media stakeholders.
  • Be a strong team player: Collaborate with PR, Brand, customer service, legal, and operations teams to develop B2B communications strategies and support the business.
  • Become a trusted leader and advisor for the leads of the operation and a mentor for the entire team. 
  • Help manage agency relationships, defining clear outcomes and accountability for deliverables.
  • Create content for every relevant opportunity(e)Also, coordinate and leverage the company resources to find new ways to create and broadcast innovative content. 
  • Help manage media inquiries and interview requests from B2B/trade media.
  • Organise innovative events, in partnership with our commercial allies, packed with content focused on strengthening ties between the company and its important stakeholders.
  • Support the company in the expansion plans both at a national or global level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Political Sciences, Journalism, Economics or equivalent experience.
  • Full professional proficiency in English(e)Other languages (French, German, Italian and Spanish) are definitely a plus. 
  • Proven experience in leadership roles in inhouse B2B communications or public relations agencies, with particular emphasis on content creation, and also relevant experience managing issues, crisis, and reputation management.
  • Experience working in a work environment strongly oriented to the use of data for decision-making, event coordination and media management is preferred.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated approach(e)We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial profile.
  • Full-time and availability to travel and live some pretty incredible adventures in a crazy fast-growing company.
