Imagine if there was something we could all change today that would reduce global warming by 10% - That’s how much food waste contributes to the climate crisis, and yet we continue to waste 40% of all the food produced.

Our app connects consumers to surplus food from local restaurants and grocery stores, such as pastries, fresh produce, sushi and more, which would otherwise be thrown away. 

Too Good To Go is looking for a Key Accounts and Operations intern to join our company for 6 months(e)You will work within our Retail Technologies Solution, focusing purely on the FoodMemo platform, to effectively support retailers in reducing in-store food waste(e)This comes after the exciting announcement that we have recently acquired CodaBene, A French Tech start-up, with the same mission as us; fighting food waste!

The role

Under the responsibility of the Key Account and Operations team, you will proactively maintain and develop the existing relationships with our partners; The FoodMemo solution users, providing them with the best possible service, experience and support(e)Your primary focus is overall account care.

You will support the wider team in the handling of our FoodMemo solution to ensure its effective deployment in various markets, which you will achieve by doing the following:

Account Management:

  • Monitor and analyse application usage and waste-impact indicators 
  • Help Key Account Managers to continuously identify new customer needs to offer them personalised digital solutions.

Administrative tasks:

  • Merge CodaBene and Too Good To Go methods and tools (e.g(e)translate the CRM)
  • Support partners (stores/retailers) in the implementation of the FoodMemo solution (training in our tools, follow-up of the launch …)
  • Share the FoodMemo and CodaBene processes with existing Too Good To Go markets.
  • Search for partnerships, awards, B2B fairs and events with sustainable development and retail players to develop a more B2B-oriented community management expertise
  • Conduct competitive and business intelligence 

Requirements

As this role is entry-level, we are keen for you to demonstrate why you are well-suited to this role - whether that’s from your studies, volunteering work, or any professional experience(e)This is what we’re looking for:

  • Terrific talkers (and listeners) with the ability to effectively and quickly connect with partners over the phone, and achieve your desired outcomes from the call
  • Excellent written communication skills: someone who can be clear and friendly in all means of communication
  • A positive and proactive mindset, ready to adapt to the needs of a fast-growing organisation 
  • A team player who is keen to learn, collaborate and contribute
  • An affinity for working with data and the eagerness to learn
  • An empathetic, patient approach, yet positively persuasive
  • Comfort in handling unexpected tasks, with a proven track record of being able to prioritise effectively.
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Gmail, Slides and Sheet) and knowledge of a CRM system (preferably Salesforce)
  • Proficient in English
