Attached to the Accounting and Consolidation Director Group, you will manage the management of a 20 people (France and international), be responsible of the run activities and work to structure and strengthen the department related to our transformation(e)

This is a central position in the Veepee Group financial organization(e)The scope concerns all of the Group's general accounting (40+ entities):

·       You will cover all the regions in which the Group operates and as such offers a real international dimension: France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany and Brazil.

·       You will play a coordinator role with all the Finance departments (Transactional Accounting, Consolidation, Controlling and Tax), the Legal Department and Internal Audit.

Following the new organization of the Group's business model, the accounting department has evolved and is based on :

·       A more centralized organization,

·       The redefinition of the responsibilities of each department within the accounting and consolidation perimeter, leading in particular to a strengthening of the accounting function(e)

In this context, we are looking for a manager with an overall vision capable of coordinating the work of his or her team and communicating with all the key departments is now sought(e)

The reinforcement of processes and work tools (SAP4HANA) is a major axis.

·       Reinforce the general accounting role  within the Finance organization and make it a Group center of excellence

·       Actively participate in the process of closing accounts and shortening deadlines

·       Organize and strengthen the documentation and justification of accounts

·       Coordinate all accountants, including the sole accountants of the smallest entities of the Group: procedures, organization of closings, calendar

·       Ensure the transition of the organization to Convergence: manage the accounting of the branches (centralized operational flows, local accounting for local tax and statutory requirements)

·       Ensure the quality of the accounting production of the entities by harmonizing practices and allocating resources appropriately

·       In conjunction with the other accounting departments, provide for each entity a precise analysis of the financial statements produced (Income Statement, Balance Sheet) based on the consolidation package

·       Take over the responsibility for the consolidation package at department level (vs(e)Consolidation department) as well as the IFRS restatements for each package

·       Position yourself as a key contact for the Group auditors

·       First significant experience in an audit firm (Big 4) essential

·       International experience preferred(e)Fluency in English is essential for this position(e)Spanish is a real plus

·       Accounting expertise

·       Very good knowledge of taxation (preparation of tax returns, VAT, etc.)

·       Strong accounting (local and IFRS) and tax (IS) knowledge

·       Good knowledge of the consolidation process

·       French / English and if possible Spanish

·       Team management and change management

·       IT skills (SAP4HANA) and project management
