To support our team in their day to day challenges we are looking for a Head of Procurement, motivated to combine the art of sourcing suppliers with the art of developing relationships in order to negotiate and buy goods, materials and services to meet the Company’s operational requirements(e)This includes supplier selection, tendering and cost estimating.

Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods, materials and services to meet the Company’s operational requirements.
  • Working within logistics, planning and purchasing to ensure the consistency, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and adequacy of the procurement process.
  • Being responsible for overseeing and facilitating the purchasing strategy, supervising teams of subordinate staff in purchasing, operations and logistics, and ensuring all employees and processes meet the company’s standards and designations for work quality.
  • Establishing essential guidelines for approving purchase orders, setting purchasing policies, managing inventory, budget for materials and continuously considering stock requirements, skills and account balances.
  • Managing purchasing processes and results.
  • Establishing collaborative processes with Design and Engineering to achieve cost reduction whenever possible.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the market, in addition to current prices and fair rates for critical components.
  • Establishing planning policies and procedures for efficiently, honestly, economically and productively purchasing goods for supply chain production and operation.
  • Monitoring, reviewing and analyzing bids and quotes with suppliers, including the negotiation of service agreements and contracts.
  • Overseeing sources for purchasing supplies and establishing QBR with key suppliers.

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry(e)
  • Proven experience in planning, defining, and leading large projects(e)
  • Mastering sourcing and procurement processes (Source to Settle, Procure to Pay, Supplier management process)
  • Proven leadership experience in procurement of a broad range of categories and managing complex internal and external partnership for outsourced and insourced services(e)
  • Very strong problem solver and innovative thinker.
  • Influencing - Decisions made at this position are critical to effectiveness of indirect expense management of the BU(e)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Curiosity about the crypto / blockchain industry would be a plus(e)

Location :

  • Paris, France - business trips to Singapore to be taken into account 3-4 times a year for quarterly business reviews(e)
