What will be your role?
As a Global SEO Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the PayFit SEO strategic vision across our 4 countries: France, Spain, Germany, the U.K.(e)Your SEO strategy will be aimed at increasing PayFit’s visibility and notoriety in our markets, as well as driving demand for all of our products(e)Additionally, you will be in charge of managing our SEO team, from defining its structure and roles, to accompanying the growth of each team member(e)This role has a high impact on our marketing roadmap, and we are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter professional to join us and shape the future of our growth strategy.
This role is based in Paris or Barcelona, has a global scope and reports into the Global Head of Growth at PayFit.
Your missions:
- Setting the strategic vision for SEO in all of our countries, and making it part of our holistic growth strategy
- Understanding the specificities and evolutions of our business both in terms of products and audiences to build SEO plans that fit our longer term ambitions in Europe
- Leading the SEO team composed of SEO Specialists and Copywriters, defining their priorities and accompanying their growth by coaching and mentoring them
- Defining the global editorial calendar as well as building the local ones with the local marketing teams
- Setting the goals and targets for SEO growth globally at PayFit
- Identifying the opportunities for growth both in terms of content, netlinking and technical SEO
- Partnering with the Web and Development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in all regions
- Optimizing our performance monitoring with the Growth Analytics team and regularly reporting on the performance of your plans to the countries and the leadership team
This job has been tailored for you if:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record of improving launching international SEO Strategies in SaaS, e-commerce, or digital-first companies
- Strong stakeholder management skills, where you have had to manage conflicting situations and uncertainty
- Self-starter and confident with good leadership and ability to make effective decisions based on data
- Deep SEO and SEA knowledge and best practices
- Independent, self-motivated, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and excellent written and spoken English
- Experience with global, multi-product, multilingual websites

- Meeting with Jenna, Head of Marketing UK and a colleague (45min)
- Meeting with the SEO Team (30min)
- Background check to verify your identity, diploma and past professional experience in the context of your ISO27001 certification
