We’re looking for an exceptional  Global Head of Trade Marketing to join the Global superstar team at Too Good To Go based in our Copenhagen, Madrid, London or Paris office. 


Your mission

We are looking for a key player to lead our Global Trade Marketing department.

This role requires direct management of 1 Trade Marketing specialist, plus supervising and supporting 17 local trade marketing teams around the world and working closely with our Global Key Accounts Growth team. 

The candidate will report into the Global VP of Brand and we will be closely working with our brand team and the rest of the global functions in Europe and in North America(e)The candidate will be responsible for the development of the trade marketing actions and strategy, together with the VP Brand and VP Key Accounts.

Your role

Trade Marketing Vision and Strategy

  • Lead the Trade Marketing team, draw up plans in conjunction with brand & KA team to translate global brand strategy into relevant brand activation plan for KA across segments
  • Identify trends and market potentials, evaluate business opportunities to be proactive in our approach with KA
  • Create and deploy multi-channel communication strategy to deliver business objectives -with specific focus on in-store brand vision for Too Good To Go together with the global KA team
  • Measure end to end of targeted KPIs and Impact - success can be measured according to the amount of branding that can be found with and used by the KA's through the KA teams

Trade Marketing Operations

Ensure adoption of brand activation & strategy by the sales department working in close collaboration with the Global KA Growth team

  • Lead transversal projects to improve operating model: processes optimization, portfolio simplification, creative templates, assets toolkit, segmentation and best practice assessment for deployment across markets. 
  • Amplify global campaigns with and through KA to increase our reach and strengthen relationship with partners delivering assets pack to Global KA Growth and local KA trade marketing
  • Working with our Global Key Account Management team to develop unique value propositions for our Global Key Accounts, take our partnerships to the next level and ensure execution of the plan.

Team development 

  • Manage and develop 1 x Trade Marketing specialist
  • Support and develop a high performing local trade marketing team (1 person per country reporting directly to the Head of Marketing of each country) holding excellence forums.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar Trade Marketing role working with Key Accounts
  • Experience working with a Key Account Management team to develop unique value propositions for our accounts, take our partnerships to the next level and ensure execution of the plan.
  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
  • Self reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management.
