Back Market is getting even stronger as a leader of the refurbished market, and we are looking for great talents to strengthen our Payment Fraud and Risk team.

In order to support its accelerated growth, Back Market is looking for a Disputes Associate to join its fast paced and dynamic Financial team in Paris starting July 2022.

You will organize the framework for action to monitor and prevent the risk of disputes on the Back Market platform.

Your Missions, if You Accept it:

You will evaluate and monitor high-risk transactions for potential disputes and chargebacks
You will report on Dispute statistics and share disputes trends to improve team knowledge and detection rates
You will defend Chargebacks on behalf of Back Market.
You will defend Disputes on behalf of Back Market and our Merchants (Sellers).
You will suspend accounts as appropriate or lifting suspension based on appeal.
You will resolve customer dispute related emails.
You will assist our customers and helping to resolve their disputes and claims inquiries.
You will work closely with internal Customer Support to ensure that while Disputes risks are managed effectively, there is minimal friction to our customers.
You will analyze Disputes & Payment data to identify vulnerabilities and take actions.
You will design new services, internal tools and projects to enhance our Disputes Process
You will be the Point Of Contact of the Back Market Seller Protection
You will make sure minimize the cost of Disputes for Back Market and our Merchants

You are studying or about to graduate from your Master's degree
You are eager to learn: You have a can do attitude & want to be a key player on a results-oriented team in a fast-paced work environment
You are a true team player
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
You master pack office tools(e)Excel is a no brainer for you.
You have the Ability to work independently and with others and are Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
You have an investigative mind and you are highly detail oriented
A first experience in fraud prevention and/or e-commerce is a plus
