The Global Sr Director People Operations will lead an ambitious and engaged team, work on creating an amazing employee experience and rigorous People Operations across a core set of systems and processes globally

What you will be doing

  • Facilitate senior stakeholder discussions and drive tangible outcomes and decisions
  • Design the Shared services strategy and roadmap, implementing any country changes as appropriate
  • Comprehensive understanding of employee lifecycle management globally, including foundational data models, business process, self service, and system capabilities
  • Provide dedicated support to People Team leaders, cross-functional teams and HRBPs in the region or function to prioritize their people initiatives
  • Set the operational strategy for global people operations together with VP of OD and People Effectiveness 
  • Keep current with industry trends and leverage vendors appropriately to ensure all HR operations are keeping pace with the market and external benchmarks
  • Lead all aspects of HR operations investments and budgets to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure the overall resource management of your team from headcount to tools is thoughtful and strategic
  • Partner with other People team leaders as well as key cross-functional partners such as Payroll, FP&A and IT
  • Shape the strategy for critical business initiatives such as hr service desk and support infrastructure, self-service, automation and international expansion

Qualifications

  • You have a proven track record of managing, leading and developing a team (including leading Directors) for a global company
  • You are a highly skilled operator who has had experience scaling teams for a fast growing, extremely successful, global technology business(e)M&A integration experience is preferred
  • 10+ years of HR operations, technology, compensation, benefits or related experience(e)We are open to leaders who have served as senior operations or finance leaders in fast growing technology companies
  • Experience and working knowledge of HRIS Systems, preferably Workday
  • Very strong analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing, and auditing work
  • Demonstrated consultative and business partnering skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence partners across all areas of the business and levels
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Excellent program/project management skills
  • Excellent people manager and coachCollaborative, team-oriented, and has a sense of humour
  • Providing coaching and support for people managers
  • Effective HR Risk Management
