As our first Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class visitor experience across our website
playplay.com, for our US and European markets(e)Your mission: continuously strive to articulate our value proposition and optimize our acquisition and conversion rate.
It is a high-visibility role that requires strong project management skills and technical expertise to make a significant impact in our growth.
You will work in a collaborative manner with different Marketing teams - Product Marketing, Content, Growth and Design - to attract, engage, and convert the thousands daily visitors.

YOUR MISSIONS ?
Website discovery
- Master our audience’s pain points and intentions through qualitative research (helped by our Product Marketing team) and quantitative data that you will retrieve from tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar.
- Continuously monitor BtoB SaaS websites best practices and trends to recommend relevant, efficient and innovation optimization for our own website.
- Conduct regular competition watch to see how competitors change their website, may it be in terms of narrative, content or architecture.
- Own our website KPIs and regularly monitor our technical and business performance.
Website strategy
- Build our website vision based on the data you gathered and turn this into a roadmap, quarter after quarter
- Make sure the Marketing team and other stakeholders, like sales rep, understand and embrace the changes you suggest through compelling communication and data-based recommendations
- Ensure this website strategy is 100% coherent with the playplay product strategy and roadmap
Website delivery
- Ensure the correct delivery of the changes you want to implement, with the help of our Growth Engineer, Marketing Operations, Brand Design and freelancers(e)Your scope of delivery could include updates like new information architecture, signup forms improvement, new pages launch or new conversion paths.
- Validate the impact of your improvements through analysis and AB testing (when necessary).
- Animate demos to share with all PlayPlayers (for big changes) or only the Marketing team (smaller improvements)
REQUIREMENTS?
- Initial successful experience of 3+ years in growth marketing, working with high traffic and complex website(s)
- You have an engineering mindset or an Engineering degree(e)If you have a Business School degree or any other kind of education, you are comfortable working and communicating with Engineers, and you are willing to learn more.
- Hands-on experience in various disciplines of growth Marketing like SEO, demand generation campaigns and product marketing.
- Technical proficiency: you are able to articulate website architecture requirements, write functional specifications and set standards for website performance(e)You know the basics of HTML & CSS.
- Analytics tools and web management platforms: you master Google Analytics, Search Console, GTM, SEMrush, Optimizely…
- CMS: you are proficient with a CMS, ideally Prismic or Webflow (headless CMS)
- CRM: you have already used Hubspot a/o Salesforce and are at ease with it.
- Experience in a predominantly sales-led go-to-market environment is a plus, given the majority of our growth will be through sales revenue (not self served)
- French native + fluent in English
