Join Veepee’s monitoring team, composed of three senior SysOps and one junior DevOps (located in France and Netherlands) who manage the Observability and Metrology platform and services, ~280 linux servers.Monitoring platform is mainly composed of modern tools almost fully automated using "Infrastructure as Code '' and orchestrators for provisioning (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Nomad, Gitlab, etc)
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy new APIs and GUIs to interact with internal tools
- Help Sysops maintaining services in operational conditions, analyze and resolve performance and scalability anomalies (load tests) of current and historical deployments
- Participate in daily support duties
- Ensure DevOps practices are followed and help the team growing on this topic
Requirements
- Development with modern languages like go, javascript, typescript
- Development with modern frameworks like angular, django
- Hands on with Docker, Gitlab CI
- Devops practices
- Linux system knowledge
- Good verbal and written English language skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Modern nosql databases (key-value, time series, distributed document)
- Using metrics for monitoring (Prometheus + Grafana)
- IAC (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
- Elastic administration
- Proficiency with different types of DB such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch
