swile.co) is a French start-up created in 2017 by French serial entrepreneur Loïc Soubeyrand : Swile offers digital solutions for employee rewards and benefits (meal/food vouchers and corporate gifts) through a card and an app that also helps foster engagement(e)We disrupted the traditional and outdated French paper meal voucher market and were able to gain significant traction(e)After mastering meal vouchers, Swile is now tackling new rewards and benefits (meal vouchers, corporate gifts, transportation and commuter benefits, vacation allowances and more) that will be stored and managed via a single account, card and app.
Our ambition is to enable employers to also improve their employees’ engagement and experience by recognising key moments and milestones of their lives at work(e)As such, celebrations (birthdays and work anniversaries), money pots, team events, P2P payments among coworkers are brought together in a single app.
As of today, we have raised €11 million (Series A) in 2018, €30 million (Series B) in 2019 and more recently, we completed a third round of fundraising (series C) of €70 million, spearheaded by Index Ventures(e)After an in-depth study of the growth potential for Swile across global markets, the company is poised to expand into the Brazilian market this year as Brazil is the world’s largest employee benefits market and more generally the perfect place to develop our new HR features namely our “Engagement” offer.
We are seeking an experienced Director to build and run the Compliance team at Swile(e)In that role, you will have the opportunity to develop the company’s compliance strategy and performance by working closely with our Group Legal & Compliance Director, the managing team of our emoney institution and our entire group leadership team(e)You will be responsible for the implementation of our emoney license that we just obtained and the beginning of the run of the activities under our regulated entity, you will also have the function of RCCP (Responsable Conformité et Contrôle Permanent) for Swile Payment, and finally, you will be in charge of the implementation of the risks, internal control and financial crime functions(e)This role is also a global role and you will be in charge to deploy the compliance policies within the whole group(e)This is a very strategic and challenging role within an hyper gowth fintech company !
Your mission ?
- Implement the Emoney License obligations within Swile
- Implement the compliance projects in coordination with all the stakeholders: managing directors, engineering teams, data team, legal team, payment team etc.
- Develop the Compliance culture
- Implement the Group risks and internal control function with our head of risks and internal control
- Implement the financial security / BO compliance functions
- Develop and manage the Compliance team
- Be the point of contact of the French regulator (ACPR) as our new RCCP (responsable conformité et contrôle permanent) for our regulated entity (Swile Payment)
- Develop the group compliance policies & procedures
- Ensure the respect of the reporting calendar (compliance, fraud & financial reports to the regulator)
Your Expérience ?
- +12 years of PQE in Financial institutions in Compliance functions / Legal/Audit/Financial Background
- Strong experience managing a compliance team
- Strong experience by implementing projects from scratch / Project management
- Knowledges in Emoney and Payment services are really appreciated!
- Strong expertise in risks and internal control
- International experience really appreciated
- Business Fluent in english
