Backend/Fullstack Engineer - Rider Core- Paris or remote in EU

As of now, we are looking for an experienced Backend/Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) for our international team based in Hamburg(e)You can join us either in one of our offices in Hamburg, Berlin or Barcelona or 100% remotely in one of the 11 countries where we have a legal entity**

Your responsibility is to work on highly complex microservices and frontend architectures.

As part of a cross-functional team, you work with a lot of freedom in a fast-changing environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Creating of Front- and Backend features
• Implementing backend microservices in Kotlin + Spring Boot
• Support our Login single-page application with React in TypeScript
• Working on end to end solutions for our product and teams
• Planning and Implementation of new features, security and compliance requests
• Improving performance and stability of the systems in the Rider domain
• Working close together with the product/development teams to enable their productivity in shipping new features
• Encouraging the knowledge-sharing between cross-functional teams

You should bring:

• Significant experience in working with backend microservices in Kotlin or Java, ideally using Spring Boot with Hibernate
• Keen about principles and practices of scalable web applications, such as RESTful API’s, dealing with transactions and resiliency
• Experience working on Single Page Applications with React or similar
• JavaScript/TypeScript experience
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience in designing software architecture
• Be communicative, innovative and always collaborative and enjoy working in a group
• Fluent proficiency in English
