We are looking for an Apps Release Manager to lead our Diner’s Experience team apps on Android and iOS(e)The team is responsible for building consumer-facing solutions for diners.

We have 30M downloads of our Apps over 12 countries(e)Our current average rating is 4.7/5 on stores. 

What your mission will be: 

Your main mission is to make the release of app versions enjoyable, fast, simple and reliable. 

In addition to owning the releases, you’ll bring innovation to the process and expand our end-to-end release management processes and tooling to the TheFork native apps.

 

What you will do: 

You’ll own the Release strategy : 

  • Innovation : You’ll bring innovative thinking to release management at TheFork : You’ll set up a process to make the app release smooth & fluid.  You perform technological watch on iOS and Android for native features. 
  • Leadership: You’ll act as an owner who will drive and deliver Release Management related initiatives(e)You’ll also own establishing best practices in tooling and processes for release management across TheFork; You act as  the lead and authority for releases of the TheFork applications
  • Collaboration & coordination : You’ll work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure great communication and transparency.

 

You’ll govern the Release management  : You ensure that releases are smooth for everybody (internal teams but also our Diners !)(e)You own it ! 

  • Accountable for iOS and Android release management for our apps. 
  • Coordinate distributed development across teams that contribute to our new app versions. 
  • Navigate our cross-function ecosystem and be the liaison for manual and automated regression QA.
  • Certify releases as ready throughout all stages of the process, including regression testing and holistic quality.
  • Prepare and publish the release notes in collaboration with product and Marketing teams.
  • Own release schedule communication (calendar of releases & roadmap) and documentation.
  • Manage main KPIs of each release (conversion & performance) 

You’ll contribute to the App Store Optimisation

  • You follow and manage reviews with our Customer Care team; 
  • You contributed to the optimization of our presence in the app stores (analysis, recommendations, screenshots updates…)
  • You analyze the evolution of qualitative metrics of our apps (Reviews & Ratings) 
  • Manage relations with the stores

Who you are:

Hard skills: 

You have 3+ years experience releasing apps to both the Apple and Google  Play Stores(e)You are familiar with the app releases process management & lifecycle development (SDLC).

You have 3+ years experience working with native app development in product management or engineering.

You are fluent in English, and comfortable in French

You have knowledge of Jira or other equivalent task management tooling & Notion.

Soft skills : 

You are an App lover with a passion for mobile development and scaling processes for building on the iOS and Android platforms.

You have the ability to work both with different stakeholders : engineers, product managers, QA, customer service & business stakeholders

You pay attention to details and show critical thinking.
You have a true obsession for customers satisfaction
