As a Technical Consultant, you are an expert in technical aspects of the Mendix platform(e)You will support our partners and customers with challenges in the areas of rapid application development, integration, cloud deployment, performance optimization, mobile apps, IoT and many other interesting areas(e)Are you solution-driven, customer-obsessed and passionate about innovation and the latest technologies?

Within the Expert Services, you will be part of the Architecture Guild allowing you to continuously learn and master your craft as a Technical Consultant(e)Topics around business alignment, DevOps, Microservices, Cloud and CI/CD automation will be focused on(e)You will be a subject matter expert (SME) for customers, partners and colleagues on technical matters regarding the Mendix platform, to help solve problems and coach others.
Responsibilities:
- Become a Mendix platform expert
- Provide guidance to our partner’s and customer’s senior developers in making technical decisions
- Support cutting edge projects, collaborating between R&D and our partners.
- Provide solution architecture of Mendix solutions
- Position Mendix platform in the wider context of the overall solution
- Gather and document best practices for Mendix solutions.
- Become an SME on performance, integration, programming, cloud infrastructure, testing, quality, mobile
- Implement Mendix platform quality addons for automatic testing and optimization
- Make our customers and partners successful in making higher quality applications
- Enable knowledge transfer through workshops or courses
- Provide direction in troubleshooting technical challenges
You are the innovator we need if you meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar information technology-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Eager to learn and use own initiative to explore what is relevant to support projects.
- Ability to communicate and explain technical information, ideas and processes to a non-technical audience
- Knowledge and experience in most of the areas below (you don’t have to be an expert!):
- Superb communication skills in both French and English are essential
- Willing to travel nationally (and sometimes internationally) to meet clients
o Server-side programming (e.g(e)Java, C#, SQL)
o Common integration protocols (e.g(e)REST, SOAP, XML,)
o Database technology (e.g(e)MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
o Web front-end technology (e.g(e)HTML, JavaScript or React)
o Networking basics (e.g(e)HTTP, TLS, certificates).
