🎩 Your Role
We are looking for a high energy, results-driven, team-oriented Supplier Performance & Acquisition intern to join our rapidly growing Global Operations team to help us extend our network of partners in the EU and strengthen our relationships with them!
In this role, you will have the great challenge of finding, testing and on-boarding our new partners, to make sure we can answer all our clients’ needs, whatever the location and whatever the service required! In a context of high growth & large increase in the number of shipments, building a strong network of partners is key(e)You will also be in charge of assisting the team in building robust supplier performance reviews to monitor our current partners’ performance and further develop our relationship with them. The role is based in France in Paris

You will work inside the Global Operations Department (10+ people) and report to the Supplier Performance & Acquisition Team Leader(e)You will also be in close contact with the local US operations team of 20+ people (divided in 3 teams: Customer Care, First Mile and Freight) and the local Supplier Acquisition and Performance Associate.
✏️ What you will do
- You will learn how to source new partners in Europe by finding existing suppliers on the market, coordinate the first few shipments during their test phase, follow up on the day-to-day EU Operations team to work with them on a regular basis
- You will work with the Supplier Performance & Acquisition EU Associate and EU Operations to define the priorities in terms of supplier panel development – type of service, geographical coverage, etc.
- You will collaborate with the EU Operations Team (your colleagues managing the first part of our transport) to identify priorities and fix together thousands of different issues!
- You will learn how to manage daily operations and especially tests with potential new suppliers to ensure that they provide the best quality of service
- You will develop supplier performance management system - monitor KPIs and build processes to support our partner's performance and growth
💪Your profile
- You are enrolled in a master either in Management, BA, or Supply chain
- You are a fluent in English and in French
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a good analytical sense.
- You have a good knowledge of analytical tools such as Excel, know how to manage important amounts of data and create dashboards
- You have strong organizational skills and are disciplined in daily activity planning: ability to manage a large quantity of information, ability to multi-task and to prioritize
- You are enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and hands-on with a strong work ethic
- You enjoy working in a challenging fast-paced, target-driven and team-oriented environment
- You are an excellent learner and have the desire to adopt new technologies and develop new concepts
