The Marketplace Finance feature team is responsible for all activities related to the payment of our sellers : marketplace invoices, payment of their sales, financial reports and seller payment backoffice(e)Our goal is to provide the best seller experience related to the management of their financial flow with ManoMano.
We are also responsible for the VAT liability process(e)T
oday we process all orders at Manomano and evaluate them in accordance with European and UK rules.
Your challenge as a Staff Java Backend Engineer will be to work on existing microservices and creating new ones, ensuring a good level of architecture, scalability, robustness, consistency and performance required by using concepts such as idempotency, distributed services, reactive architecture, back pressure and more to guarantee a quality of seller finance service and vat services for years to come.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
You will join a team, composed of 4 Developers + 1 staff + 1 Lead + 1 Product Manager, in order to create an amazing experience for our sellers and our accounting department.
As a Staff Software Engineer you will be the right-hand of the Engineering Lead and you will be a key member of the team.
Your role will be to :
- Assimilate business and marketplace finance context
- Provide advices on the Finance technical architecture
- Be a driver on our technological choices, provide advices and recommendations
- Share your experience with other team members with pair programming, review, and technical feature definition
- Help us to improve our global quality, with tests, monitoring, craftsman practices and monitoring.
- Help our developer community to growth and shine
- Participate in the development of our future features

REQUIREMENTS
Technical skills :
+7 years of experience as a Backend Developer
High understanding of Micro-service Architecture: DDD, SOLID, Distributed Systems architecture.
You already worked with most of our technical stack
Unit Testing, Acceptance Testing, Integration Testing, Load, Testing, Contract Testing
Creative / Innovative
Knowledge in Monitoring, Alerting
Ability to design new systems and features
Software Craftsmanship
Soft skills :
Soul of a doer, like to take initiatives and offer new solutions
Autonomous and adaptable (able to work in a constantly changing environment)
Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
Curious with a strong desire to test and experiment new solutions in your work
