YOUR ROLE
Do you want to take part in the conception of innovative products and help us to scale up the QA department ?
As a member of Shift Technology’s QA team, part of the greater tech team, you will be working on the whole QA process implementation on the Shift Technical platform (the core of all our products!) and will be focused on the QA for backend teams.
More specifically in this role you will:
- Define and implement test strategies for different backend development teams (API, micro-services, dockers, databases, performances…)
- Understand our clients need and establish the relevant test strategy to ensure that the product will fit
- Be part of 2 developers teams in Agile cycle to test new features and ensure the quality of the product: Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
- Identify and implement automated tests (UI; API, perf) with the development team in Agile cycle
- Create and lead comprehensive test campaigns on your product(s)
- Communicate with different teams (Developers, Data Scientists, Product Owners, Security, Infrastructure)
- Regularly participate in knowledge sharing and tech-talk sessions within the organization on QA or automation subjects.
As a member of the great QA Team, you will:
- Participate to comprehensive test campaigns on different products
- Drive and help to establish best practices and testing processes by promoting the “test culture” inside the company
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Min(e)Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; or equivalent experience is required
- You have good coding skills: whatever your language of choice, your projects are beautifully designed and cleanly written
- You have minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation
- You have minimum 5 years of experience in Software Engineering
- You have significant automation experience with UI tests, backend tests, API tests, performance tests, stress tests
- You have experiences to write and execute complex SQL queries and with graphQL, Elasticsearch, C#, .Net.
- You are ISTQB foundation certified
- Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution, test case management tools
- Ability to identify and clearly document issues for resolution
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standard
- Must be team focused, excellent communicator and collaborative demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
- Excellent communication and working proficiency in English and in French
Nice to have:
- ISTQB Advanced certified
- Agile Tester certified
- Experience in leading a QA team
- Experience with final client
