Talend is hiring a Senior Frontend Developer for its Data Governance team based in Nantes, France(e)
Talend Data Preparation, Talend Data Stewardship and Talend Data Inventory are the next-generation cloud data governance applications being developed at Talend(e)They bring intelligent and collaborative capabilities to datasets inventory and transformation for our customers and are the corner stone of Talend Data Fabric strategy(e)They leverage the new Talend runtime based on Apache Beam and Apache Spark and are built using Java & Scala, JavaScript and React(e)We use Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI / CD technology.
Key responsibilities:
- Participating in the design (technical, functional and UX) and implementation of Data Governance user interfaces (Talend Data Inventory, Talend Data Preparation and Talend Data Stewardship).
- Contributing to Talend Design System (https://design.talend.com/ and https://github.com/Talend/ui/tree/master/packages/design-system)
- Collaborate with UX designers to build our next UI/UX elements
- Writing well designed, testable and efficient code
- Investigating with other team members to resolve technical issues and performing root cause analysis
- Maintaining technical documentation
Skills and Experience:
- At least 4 years of proven experience in a JavaScript/Frontend development role
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and a modern Javascript Framework
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with building & consuming REST APIs
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques(e)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Team spirit
- Fluent professional English (written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Redux Saga, webpack & npm
- Familiarity with web accessibility
- Familiarity with Docker & K8s
