Your main task will be to ensure the Malt brand and value propositions are driving impact for both our freelance community and our B2B clients(e)This will require strategic thinking, a data-driven approach and a results oriented mindset(e)You’ll have a lot of autonomy in your work while enjoying the support of a central team that is fully committed to seeing Malt’s impressive growth continue(e)

As a Senior Communications Manager for France your main challenges will be:

1)To solidify Malt’s reputation in France, and increase our brand awareness in our newly opened regions including Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes, Lille, …

2)To position French top management and key stakeholders as thought leaders on the topics of digital transformation, and independent work.

3)To build and deliver a communications strategy in collaboration with the marketing team dedicated to drive acquisition of freelance talents, and B2B clients (Corporate, and SMBs) on the French market.

Missions :
-Managing Malt’s public relations as well as social media channels, ensuring key messages are consistently reaching the right audience.
-Building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant media and identifying opportunities to proactively position us to our stakeholders.
-Create informative and interesting press releases, produce creative strategic content for a range of channels that communicates our mission and helps to engage and influence key decision-makers.
-Work effectively with colleagues in the headquarters to deliver our social media strategy, and our content strategy to engage with our B2B and B2Free target audiences.
-Work with the rest of the marketing team on projects to create fresh and new methods to inform and guide internal and external stakeholders including contributing to newcomers onboarding.


About You :

  • Native fluency in French and professional fluency in English.
  • Excellent at crafting written content in French, comfortable with content creation in English as well.
  • 6-8 years experience in an agency, corporate communications or comparable role.
  • Deep understanding of the french media landscape with established media and PR relationships in France.
  • A proven track record of innovative communications campaigns and generating high-quality results when executing the campaigns.
  • Experience managing multiple projects autonomously in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with agencies.
  • Data-driven and results oriented, with a bias towards action.
  • Excitement for and comfort with working in a fast-moving, ever-changing scaleup environment
-Screening with Hamza, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (30-45 minutes).
-Interview with your future manager, Victoire, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60 minutes)
-Home assignment to prepare and present in order to evaluate your hard skills
- Final interview with Ségolène, CMO- to discuss Malt’s long term vision
