About the team

Within our platform tribe, the identity management squad is responsible for building a secure, resilient and scalable authentication and authorization stack for Back Market(e)

To achieve this, the team collaborates closely with our Cybersecurity teams as well as with various technical and business stakeholders across the organization.

About the job

We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to join our team and help us build our in-house identity services based on Ory.

You’ll be responsible for

Designing and implementing features on our identity management stack to handle our future scale and business needs.
Collaborating closely with our CyberSecurity tribe and owning the security concerns within the Identity Management squad.
Ensuring our stack complies with the organization's standards and policies.
Participating in our on-call rotations.

You're perfect for this role if

You have at least 5 years of experience in developing python or Golang services.
You have a solid understanding of identity management systems in a cloud-native environment (API, Security & AuthN+Z protocols, microservices architectures, resiliency, etc).
You have good knowledge about data migration strategy and best practices.
You have some knowledge of mobile app flows and constraints.
You have experience with designing, building, and running cloud-native applications.
You have demonstrated strong architectural and documentation skills in a large-scale environment.
You have excellent English communication skills.
