As a Senior Back-end Developer, you will join the Tech team and work directly with the Product team.
At Tacotax, we work as a team and everyone moves in the same direction by sharing best practices and looking to improve every day(e)You will participate in a wide variety of projects in collaboration with the front-end team(e)You will also be able to participate in shaping the organization into a features team or an impact team as the team grows.
?Missions:
You will take part in developing the best possible user experience to make personal finance management simple and clear :
- Design and implement new features by applying as much as possible the good practices of "clean code" (readability, design patterns, code organization) and performance
- Maintain our back-office and find ways to free the Tech team from repetitive tasks by offering the possibility to the business teams to be autonomous (CMS / No-Code)
- Challenge the product and the organization: be a force of proposal to improve the product and the organization of the team on a functional and technical aspect
- Limiting bugs and technical debt as much as possible: setting up tests for the entire application and ensuring the quality and security of the codebase
- Share and exchange best practices: conduct code reviews and constructive feedback to promote knowledge sharing
- Take part in the development of the "Tech Culture" at Tacotax by proposing initiatives that will move the - Team forward and improve working conditions (leading agile ceremonies, training, personal "innovation" time, participating in events or hackathons, etc.)
Our current topics:
Building a Personal Space that centralizes all of our users' goals and offers personalized simulations (Reduce my taxes, prepare for retirement, grow my savings, invest in crypto, etc.)
Creation of flexible investment paths that allow the user to move forward independently or with an advisor
Interfacing the backend with our CRM tool (Salesforce) so that the user experience evolves as they interact with our advisors
Integration of APIs for booking appointments, depositing supporting documents and tracking investments
Overhaul of the infrastructure and release processes to move towards continuous delivery

? Profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Ruby on Rails developer and have already developed and maintained code on a production site
- You already have experience as a technical referent on the backend where you were able to help and guide the team members
- You are a curious developer who likes to be up to date on the latest technologies and new tools to help improve the product
- You are rigorous, methodical and have already defined development standards and continuous improvement processes
- You are very end-user oriented and you have a very good product sense
- You like to communicate, work and share in a team to create simple, coherent and efficient products
- You want to understand and master the business challenges of your company
