THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER
- Manage full P&L for TIER’s South West Europe & Middle East region, constantly striving to improve the profitability, scalability and defensibility of our business model
- Play an active leadership role on both the regional management team, and global finance management team
- Provide thought partnership and direction to the Regional General Manager and other senior leaders across the region on all finance related matters
- Ensure efficient investment and capital allocation decisions are made at all times, develop business cases, ensure financial rigour and strategic alignment
- Oversee the analysis of current performance against budget and forecast future expectations to control costs and optimise the growth of the business
- Prepare, own and streamline monthly business performance reporting related to the region
- Develop tools and processes to deliver accurate and relevant information and KPIs (both financial and non-financial) to budget owners to support their efficiency and growth objectives
- Regularly deliver in depth interrogations and analysis to interpret financial trends and deliver key insights to senior management, working closely with other Finance Business Partners and Business Intelligence
- As a member of the global finance management team: play an active role in pushing the overall function forward, supporting other senior colleagues, working collaboratively, and mentoring junior colleagues across the Finance group
- Typical of most start-up businesses, there are many more opportunities to identify areas for improvement, take the initiative and own the process of delivering improvements in both systems and processes
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8 years+ professional experience in commercial finance, investment banking or top tier consulting
- Outstanding academics to at least degree level
- Qualified financial professional - ACA / CIMA / CFA strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in commercial finance, business partnering, FP&A, or consulting
- Scaleup background would be advantageous
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior stakeholders
- Eye for detail and dedication to accuracy in financial reporting
- Advanced analytical ability to derive insights from financial and non-financial data
- Experience of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Advanced Excel with strong data manipulation
- Excellent communication in English, other European languages a plus
- Flexible and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast and demanding environment
