This position is either fully remote (European timezones) or onsite at our Paris office(e)We have a relocation package in place if needed(e)

About the team

  • The team is responsible for maintaining the core features of the product, the web browser application, mobile application, and the APIs used by the two and our customers.
  • Your work will have a direct impact on our customers, empowering them to deliver a better support experience to their own clients. Be that through the optimizations we do on the app by making things smoother and faster or through the constant flow of new functionalities to meet our customer needs.
  • The team is currently composed of 4 Front-End Engineers, 2 Full-Stack Engineers, 1 Back-Engineer, 1 Tech Lead, and the Engineering Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze
  • Verify that the requirements of the feature are met from a completeness and consistency point of view(e)Any corner cases not covered by the specifications or possible roadblocks of implementation should be highlighted ASAP either on the linear issues or to the ones responsible for creating them(e)They should also cover load testing and performance to identify possible weak points in the helpdesk so as we scale to cover more and more clients, we can be confident in the performance of the tool we provide them with.

  • Design
  • Create the necessary set of tests based on requirements and plan any configurations that are necessary for testing(e)This can mean anything from creating test cases to planning out how the automation framework will look and work within our helpdesk(e)By leveraging their QA Engineer skills, an automation framework should be built and kept up to date with tests that cover a wide array of crucial flows within the app to signal any new bugs found across it.

  • Execute
  • Perform the prepared automated tests from the previous step(e)Describe and document any found bugs by specifying the steps to reproduce.

  • Manage
  • Plans and monitors the necessary work so that the deadlines that were set according to the schedule are met(e)The QA should always have in mind the necessary time they need to implement and run all necessary tests and keep the stakeholders informed(e)This means that they should raise their hand asap as soon as they have the smallest of concerns that we risk not having enough testing time according to our deadlines.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience of QA Automation
  • Experience in Cucumber, Gherkin, and Selenium WebDriver
  • Github, Jenkins or any other tools where you integrated your tests in the CI/CD pipeline
  • Nice to have: Experience building an automation framework from scratch
