About the position

As a Principal Software Engineer at Showpad, you’ll maintain and build features together with a cross functional development team inside the scrum framework(e)You’ll play a critical role in determining how the architecture of the applications will evolve.

The ideal candidate we’re looking for:

• Is comfortable in working together in a remote, flexible and distributed team over Europe
• Is not afraid to go out of your area of expertise and challenge the rest of the team
• Is passionate about cloud nativeness
• Loves to own and build a product incrementally, doesn’t want 100 pages of requirements
• Is comfortable in working with various repositories using different frameworks
• Is opinionated and can guide the technical direction of a team

The skills we’re looking for:

• An expert in either Angular or React - not strictly bound to one of the two but you will work with both
• Knowledge around the architecture of a modern large scale single-page application
• Profound understanding of HTML, CSS3 and core Typescript concepts
• Experience using Git in a professional environment
• Understanding in core web and browser concepts (eg(e)how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
• Deep knowledge of quality and taking responsibility for quality processes
• Demonstrated experience working whole software development life cycle inside an agile team

Bonus Points

• Knowledge in Redux, NgRx/RxJs or Nrwl Nx
• Experience in AWS Cloud Services
• Experience working inside a SaaS company
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Experience in continuous deployment and integration
• Experience in a scaled scrum framework (eg(e)LeSS)
