About the Team
- Our team role is to make people grow at Gorgias: to grow as individuals - with great training and clear career paths - and grow as a team by hiring the best talents and by creating a great cohesion and a strong culture.
- In the People Team, we all work together on common projects but we're split into 3 sub-teams: the Recruiting team, People Experience team, Talent & Career Development team(e)As a People Analyst/Payroll Specialist, you'll be reporting to the People Experience Manager, Andrea(e)So far there is 14 of us in the People Ops team and we expect to be 16 by the end of the year! What You'll Do
- You will address reporting and analytics requests(e)Automate reporting.
- You will compile highly polished analysis of department-level data on a cyclical and ongoing basis that facilitates easily digestible and actionable metrics/dashboards/trend analysis.
- You will work with the People Operations Manager on recognizing patterns, trends, and changing requirements to identify key opportunities to support not only strategic decisions for the People Ops team but also for other teams within Gorgias(e)Tailor insights on topics like hiring, development, and retention of talent, as well as any other areas.
- You will effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in a timely manner.
- You will handle payroll operations for the US, France, Serbia, Australia, and Canada(e)You will work closely with the Finance team and the accountants to monitor payroll information data as well as automate payroll processes as needed and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
- You will work hand in hand with the Finance team and Compliance Specialist to streamline other payment processes for contractors/consultants on ongoing contracts across different countries.
- Stay up to date with industry compensation trends and work with the People Operations Manager to make compensation updates when needed.
Who You Are
- You have a minimum of 4 years of professional working experience demonstrating excellent quantitative skills, concise communication, and balancing of multiple projects
- You have experience prioritizing requests and working with stakeholders across multiple diverse cross-functional areas.
- You have experience manipulating large data sets
- You have experience with Compensation analysis
- You have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- You are proficient with HRIS Solutions and Statistical Analysis Programs
- You have experience with payroll or a similar field
- You have an amazing ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
