Operations Business Partner (Southwest Europe & the Middle East)
The role and your impact at TIER
We’re looking for an experienced manager with a track record of driving operational improvement initiatives(e)You should be a team player who is able to align & coordinate regional and central teams to achieve a common objective(e)You will be based preferably in France, and you should be comfortable travelling to markets throughout your region in order to support our local operations teams on the ground.
Your responsibilities will include
- Partnering with our regional ops teams and bridging the gap between the regions and HQ
- Identifying underperforming regions & markets where improvements can have a material impact on company performance at regional/global level
- Understanding drivers of underperformance, identifying improvement levers, defining an improvement action plan, implementing the action plan, and tracking progress towards defined success metrics, in conjunction with local/regional ops teams
- Providing analytical support on a project-basis to local/regional ops teams, including the use of Looker, Excel, and other analytical tools
- Documenting & sharing learnings & best practices across the rest of the organisation
- Supporting regional review processes between Central Operations and our regional Heads of Operations
You'll fit in great with these skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university or business school
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting, banking, consulting, or in a startup/entrepreneurial role
- Prior experience in the mobility, transport, or logistics industry is desirable (e.g(e)Uber, Deliveroo)
- In-depth knowledge of data tools & visualisers (e.g(e)Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau, Kepler)
- Organised and structured mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
