In this role, you will:

The Enterprise Systems team is responsible for supporting the technological needs of the accounting and finance teams at KAYAK and Opentable.

The Netsuite Software Engineer, Enterprise Systems position is one that sits at the intersection of accounting, design, and coding(e)It entails scoping, building and maintaining Netsuite customizations and custom integrations between various financial and accounting systems, while maintaining SOX compliance with a variety of controls.

KAYAK/Opentable has built its financial and commercial operations on top of customizable cloud platforms (Salesforce, Netsuite, Celigo, Adaptive Planning…) as well as custom Node.js based applications and portals and has thoroughly customized them to suit its needs and appetite for innovation(e)The Enterprise Systems team is recruiting an experienced Netsuite Software Engineer to develop innovative, efficient and platform integrated End-to-End processes.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, curious and communicative coder who strives to learn new technologies to keep up with the dynamics of our financial and commercial infrastructure and is not afraid to tackle entirely new subject matters.

The Netsuite Software Engineer, Enterprise Systems will be responsible for:

• Writing and implementing improvements to the SaaS accounting systems (Netsuite)
• Writing API integrations between Netsuite and third-party systems
• Coding new reporting solutions for the accounting team, with a strong focus on data accuracy

Please apply if:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
• At least 3 years of Netsuite programming experience
• Experience using JavaScript, MySQL, (TypeScript a plus)
• Familiarity with accounting concepts, Netsuite, (Salesforce a plus)
• Social and communication skills to interact with, understand, and simplify solutions for non-technical accountants in a clear and concise manner
• Independent mind who can work with minimal supervision, and proactively seeks solutions
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to pace and forecast potential hurdles and solutions to them
