Responsibilities
You'll join a team of 11 Developers(e)This team works on products that are used by thousands of healthcare practitioners, with a very high growth rate(e)In the backend we use RoR in priority, and Node. Front side, we run pretty much everything on React.
As a Backend Engineer, you'll work on the backend of:
? Lifen Documents a tool used to manage and share documents to other healthcare practitioners and patients
? Lifen Mail, the ultimate solution for using mail with health data enrichment
? Lifen Planning, the leading tool to organize the team in a hospital context
It is much appreciated if you also have skills in frontend, or if you are eager to learn our frontend technology (React)
What will be your mission?
- Develop new features & maintain products already in production
- Get new skills (for instance mail technologies)
- Improve Developer experience by bringing improvements in tooling, methodologies etc.
- Improve test coverage and CI pipeline alongside QA Engineers
Requirements
?Good technical basis and eager to progress, to ship features that bring great products to the healthcare industry
?Open minded and curious: track record in at least one backend framework (Rails, Django, Go, etc.) + eager to learn Ruby On Rails
??Result-oriented rather than Tech-addict: "how can we ship something great to our customers?" is a better question than "what is the best technology / framework to work with?"
?Pragmatic: we're not looking for the best design ever, but for something that is strong (kiss/tested) and delivers value to our clients
⚽️Team player: although speed is important, you value team work and want to dedicate time to bring people with you, learn from others, coach younger Developers, etc.
?Languages: you have good English and French communication skills to engage with all team members within the company.
? If you also have a knowledge of the healthcare industry, that's the icing on the cake!
