YOUR ROLE

As a member of Shift Technology's Infrastructure team, your role will be to:

  • Provide amazing day to day hardware and software technical support for our employees
  • Handle all the onboarding and offboarding, this will include preparing access to all platforms and preparation of devices (both Windows and Apple) across all employees and all Shift locations
  • Assist with new hire orientations covering policies, best practices and services used within Shift
  • Handle general ticketing, account management, and problem escalation
  • Manage the internal Windows App (Intune) Store
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Support unified communications need for Shift employees in conference rooms and other common areas
  • Create and maintain internal and user facing documentation
  • Participate in deployment and security related projects

 

YOUR TOOLKIT

We work with modern technologies and always encourage our team to explore what's new in the market.

Our main tools are:

  • Azure AD, Intune and Autopilot, Office 365 and G Suite
  • Windows Server, Windows OS, MacOS
  • Jira Service Management, Confluence, Insight, Cisco Meraki


What We Are Looking For

  • Technical Abilities:
    • Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, Google Worskspace, Active Directory and Azure Endpoint Manager
    • Knowledge of computer security, anti-virus, patch management
    • Basic knowledge of cloud services (Azure AD, Office 365, Google Workspace, etc)
    • Ticketing system and trouble resolution (Jira Service Management)
    • Documenting problem resolution and routine tasks
    • You can write basic scripts to automate tasks
  • Soft Skills:
    • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Helpdesk support
    • You are a proactive team member and take pride and ownership of your work
    • You are dynamic, curious, and eager to learn; always looking to expand your fields of expertise
    • You can work under pressure and still deliver excellent service to our customers
