The Industry Relations team is looking for an ambitious and exceptional candidate to join the team and our mission to protect Tripadvisor’s reputation and to elevate our B2B-facing brand with key industry opinion formers, groups, associations and government representatives(e)You will be part of a global, dynamic team in a role where you can immediately create an impact.

The Industry Relations Senior Specialist will be responsible for supporting the global head of Industry Relations working on association outreach and education aimed at building a positive reputation for our partner-facing brand, largely partnering with Destination Marketing Organizations, industry associations and Non-Governmental Organizations representing tourism, lodging and the hospitality industry(e)The role will also assist the global head of Industry Relations lead with day-to-day operations, largely in markets across Europe and the Asia Pacific region, also supporting work in North America and the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally to ensure the success of the Industry Relations team, leading both external-facing and internal-facing projects from inception to delivery
• Represent the company in day-to-day partner contacts and meetings, owning and leading industry-relevant conversations and securing partners’ engagement with Tripadvisor improving long-term relationships by seeking win-win solutions and opportunities to meet team and company goals 
• Independently present and co-present with company officials at industry events, inclusive of appropriately integrating commercial messages around our key products (i.e(e)hotel and restaurant solutions, media and travel subscription services benefiting our partners, etc.)
• Prepare briefing documents for one-to-one meetings and briefings with key industry executives and Tripadvisor C-suite and CEO
• Represent Tripadvisor at industry events: lead the work on securing and analyzing data for storytelling purposes and presentations on tourism trends, creating all collateral (messaging materials, presentation decks, etc.) and presenting at these events
• Support the commercial objectives of the company, with a focus on drafting a narrative around our key solutions, sharing product launches and updates with our partners and providing support amongst our partners’ members
• Work cross functionally with the marketing, policy, sales and communications teams to support the promotion of product launches to reach and exceed marketing and reputation management needs of nearly 11 million businesses listed on our platform
• Support and develop the partner outreach programme to enhance the relevance of our B2B-facing brand and to assist with the creation and distribution of key corporate communications campaigns to update our industry partners on news and developments from Tripadvisor
• Attend communications, sales, marketing, content and legal team meetings to update leadership on Industry Relations activities, key ongoing work streams and collaboration opportunities 
• Work with the communications team providing them with in-country PR and media support in FIGS (France, Italy, Germany and Spain) to react to crisis issues and respond to TV and radio visibility opportunities, and media inquiries 
• Support the Industry Relations lead in thought leadership projects that aim at positioning Tripadvisor as a leader in the travel industry

What We’re Looking For

• A self-motivated individual with a passion for travel and positive social impact
• Multi-lingual: must be able to read, effectively write and speak fluently in English, French and, ideally, Spanish(e)German and Italian languages are a plus
• A strong sense of ownership, comfort with ambiguity, able to work with little supervision and in a fast paced, global & highly dynamic environment where products and processes evolve rapidly
• The Industry Relations Senior Specialist will represent the team internally and the company externally: excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and to build relations and collaborate virtually and in-person with team members and partners around the globe are pivotal
• Great organizational skills, willingness to take on responsibilities, excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and commercial acumen
• Product management skills, and experience in building presentations and working on complex Excel files(e)Comfortable in using PowerPoint and Excel (and collaborative tools like Google Docs or Microsoft Sharepoint), is a requirement(e)Knowledge of Snowflake, Tableau and CRM tools is a plus
• Based in London, Barcelona, Madrid or Paris with willingness to travel
