As a Group Reporting & Planning Manager, you will role model our standards, always(e)Constantly raising the bar when it comes to expectations of yourself and others, with a willingness to roll your sleeves up to get the job done. You will have a central role in the finance team, reporting and analyzing group consolidated figures on all our financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow)(e)To do so, you will have to be a privileged interlocutor for all the members of the Finance team but also for some operational partners in the company.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the financial information presented in the monthly board pack
- Investigating the financial performance of the company, and delivering insightful analysis on it.
- Automating the production of the financial information in the board pack for example basic commentary through dynamic x% text, linked tables etc.
- Reporting group financial results on a monthly basis with commentary
- Ensuring the integrity of this financial reporting through carefully followed processes & systems maintenance
- Challenging finance managers on their monthly numbers & commentary to ensure accuracy in the financial reporting
- Review and analyse the consolidated figures of budget, reforecast and longer range plans
- Creating the presentations for the above
- Supporting the budgeting & re-forecasting processes through being the ‘power user’ for our Budgeting and Forecasting tool (currently Workday’s Adaptive Insights)
- if so desired, you are empowered to change our Planning & Budgeting Forecasting tool
- If you don’t already know Netsuite, it is intuitive and you will quickly learn
Who You Are:
- Excellent technical financial accounting knowledge – qualified accountant or a university degree in accounting.
- Financial reporting experience, producing and owning financial statements and management accounts
- 2-5 years in Transaction Services, or Audit at a "Big 4" or mid-tier accounting firm
- Loves finance systems (interest not experience is key)
- Fluent English speaker
- Attention to detail
Nice to Have:
- Oracle Netsuite knowledge
- Workday Adaptive Insights knowledge (including Office Connect for Excel & Powerpoint)
- Great in powerpoint
- Understanding of the Advertising Technology industry
