Reporting into the Director of Country and Category Performance, and working amongst a team of GMs, you will be responsible for driving the French Gross merchandise value growth.

You will be in charge of crafting the strategy and positioning Back Market as the

leader of the circular economy in France(e)You will establish targets, create

worksteams and monitor their completion by working hand-in-hand with the

Business and Product teams(e)You will be in charge of developing new growth

levers to make sure we keep growing in this mature market.

YOUR MISSION ?:

Establish Back Market as the leader of the circular economy in France;
Define an ambitious vision for France in partnership with the business and the product teams with full Profit & Loss responsibility;
Lead the France performance reviews and conduct the operational monitoring of business results, engage all the stakeholders in the needed workstreams and communicate at the company level on the French market performance;
Identify key growth levers and design solutions hand-in-hand with other Business and Product teams, with the perspective to scale those initiatives at Worldwide level;
Support the Supply team during negotiation with French key players, to recruit new sellers and develop new partnerships;
Work hand in hand with the Brand team to make sure they develop the needed creatives, brand messages and media strategy in line with the French plan.

You’re At The Right Place if ⭐:

You have a minimum of 10-years experience, including at least 7 years in the e-commerce industry with a strong track record at leading e-commerce projects;
You have an excellent business sense & negotiations skills - you can support the Business team in negotiating with French key players/sellers/partners;
You have strong communication skills and an unmatched ability to create team dynamics with people you don’t have any hierarchical link with;
You are willing to participate in building a very strong brand, by influencing the core DNA of Back Market brand and adapting it to the strategic bets;
You have the ability to launch new projects by getting your hands dirty to foster our positioning in the circular economy;
You have a strong understanding of the refurbished electronics business environment, and what’s needed to lead Back Market to success in France.

It's even better if :

You have an experience as a Comex member, VP or Director in an e-commerce or marketplace, and/or possibly retail;
You have a strong French network to leverage to accelerate Back Market growth in France.
