The position
Sunday is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our growing Finance team(e)As a member of the team, you will partner with the Finance Manager Europe and will oversee all aspects of administrative and operational Finance for the European entities(e)You will work closely with our local Finance Managers, and Sunday’s other business teams(e)For this role, you will manage the daily financial tasks and will ensure the reliability of Sunday’s financial data.
This opportunity is based in Paris(e)The role reports to the Finance Manager(e)You must be fluent in English and in French.
Job Tasks
- Handle daily operational activities related to A/R for all our European entities (currently: France, UK, Spain)
- Handle supplier payments (A/P)
- Ensure A/R & A/P policies, procedures and controls are documented and up to date
- Support FP&A on cash flow analysis (maintaining weekly cash report)
- Participate in new billing tools implementation and make sure that the connection with accounting tool is seamless and efficient
- Participate to the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close reporting and reconciliation
- Provide the Finance team with any miscellaneous ad hoc requests linked to A/R and A/P
- Assist in building a scalable and efficient global accounting and finance function
Required experience & responsibilities
- Finance or Accounting Degree
- 1-2 years of financial experience in a high-growth corporate environment (ideally in Fintech or Tech) with exposure to accounting/control, FP&A or within a top-tier accounting firm
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills: solid background in accounting is a must, corporate finance background is a strong plus
- Extensive familiarity with preparing and presenting financial reports and analyses
- Familiarity with corporate finance concepts, financial modeling, and KPI tracking
- Sound business judgment and ability to communicate clearly
- Proactive and self-motivated to solve problems; comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and handling complex questions
Experience with Fintech and/or payment processing industry a plus
