The Opportunity

As our first R&D Business Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the rapidly growing R&D Operations team(e)We are looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager who can be a passionate and thoughtful owner of our New Product Introduction process - the process around which our product team introduces and prioritizes new products, partnerships and market launches.  Ultimately this role will also support broader “Rhythm of the Business” activities including annual planning for the R&D organization(e)  You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, unhampered by ambiguity or competing priorities.  This role is highly visible and will report at Executive levels in the business.  

In this role you will: 

  • Build and drive the Rhythm of the Business, Business Review Cadence, Annual Planning and integration across the broader organization.
  • Drive our new product introduction process across multiple products
  • Work at scale in cross company teams and geographies
  • Develop automation to build efficiencies across the business
  • Report on the status of features and functionality across our portfolio of products, providing clarity to stakeholders
  • Report progress toward agreed milestones
  • Lead All Hands and Executive level communication for your areas of responsibility
  • Drive accountability and serve as the point of contact for understanding business status on key programs
  • Monitor team health and lead organization culture initiatives while partnering with the HR/ People team.  
  • Establish scorecards and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with strategy.  Work across the organization to establish and report against targets.
  • Provide guidance across teams on performance metrics and assist with KPI definition and monitoring across the product team.  
  • Liaise with Marketing, Revenue Enablement and Customer Success teams to drive programs across the business

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in program management roles working in software development projects.
  • Proven track record of shipping enterprise product releases and SaaS products.
  • Superb business acumen, ability to understand strategies from each business unit’s perspective, align OKRs, and recommend simple scalable solutions.
  • Experience in various agile and hybrid methodologies and continuous integration.
  • Experience in [list relevant technologies here]
  • Expertise in an environment where security and privacy are critical business needs. 
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in building processes, project management, change management and release schedules on a global scale.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decisions.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills(e)Able to communicate sophisticated and technical issues effectively and concisely to leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
