We are looking for a Director of Strategy and Market Insights to join our mission to Change Mobility for Good! The successful candidate will report to VP Strategy & Planning(e)This is a cross-functional role that provides an opportunity for original thinking, close collaboration with multiple teams/ business units and Senior level management to deliver a winning business strategy.
THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER
- Lead TIER’s cross-functional analysis (value chain and SWOT) to provide strategic recommendations related to competitive advantage, differentiation and where TIER should focus
- Deliver market insights / analysis /recommendations to senior management related to:
- Micromobility and adjacent industries: identifying and tracking key trends
- Competition: conduct deep dives to inform key analysis around strategy canvas/SWOT analysis and provide recommendations related to how do we win
- New geographies: co-lead market analysis to be on top of what’s happening and where to inform decisions around future expansion
- Collaborate with business units (Corp dev, Finance and wider Strategy and Planning team) to:
- Set-up or run analysis related to strategic choices, ie key product lines / extensions
- Long Range Plans
- Align strategic business goals with execution
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years experience in management consulting or corporate strategy at a top-tier company
- 2+ years experience at a high-growth start-up a plus
- Experience managing and directing people, plus working highly cross-functionally
- Strong analytical & presentation skills
- You love thinking big picture and seeing how patterns and trends play out across industries / geos and over time
- You enjoy and thrive working within a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with ambiguity
- You think like an entrepreneur and you make things happen
- You view everyone as your teammate and are an outgoing relationship builder
- Fluent in English
