What you'll be doing
- Implement GDPR compliance throughout the company
- Develop DPA templates and negotiate DPA agreements with our clients and suppliers
- Develop GDPR training material for the teams
- Be the first contact to the product and event teams
- Occasionally, support the other members of the legal team on various legal tasks
Directly reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, your main tasks will be the following:
Your Profile
- Master degree in Data Protection or ICT
- Certified lawyer in France or EU country
- Minimum of 4/5 years of experience in data protection
- Worked 2/3 years at an international law firm
- Good knowledge of Data Protection frameworks around the world
- Bonus: you have already worked in a start-up and are familiar with a hyper-growth environment and/or worked as a DPO
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- English full proficiency (both written and oral)
- Business-oriented with negotiation experienceand a great negotiator
- Pro-active, autonomous, solution-driven
- Diligent, rigorous, detail-oriented
- Open-minded, with a curiosity for new processes and improvements
