Founded in 2016 by Jean-Charles Samuelian and Charles Gorintin, Alan is the first independent digital health insurance in France since 1986.

We are currently looking for new colleagues that have mastered their craft around Machine Learning topics (4+ years of experience in teams leveraging ML) and will drive the ambitious ML-powered products that Alan is currently developing.

⭐️ Expected skills and abilities ⭐️

We are mainly looking for senior professionals with a strong belief that Machine Learning goes beyond models and theory, that it is a means to an end instead of finality, and that the impact of AI relies on one's ability to implement it. The more experience you have, the broader the scope, size and complexity of projects you'll handle(e)

You’ll also have the opportunity to directly support the growth of other members of the team(e)We are also excited to welcome very senior profiles to lead our ML effort.

You would thrive at Alan if most of this sounds like you:
- Passionate about owning ambitious challenges from complex problems to simple solutions.
- Curious about the ML field at large, its technological and societal evolutions.
- Strong fundamentals in Statistics and Machine Learning.
- Proficient in Python and fundamental ML libraries (eg: pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, …).
- Setting a high standard of rigor and precision for yourself.
- Great listening and communication skills- Humble, kind, collaborative, and still willing to grow!
- Fluent and clear in English, both oral and written (no need to speak French!).
