Position Overview
The Coordinator, reporting to the Global Lead, Contracts and Compliance, will assist with contracts, compliance and administration(e)The person in this role will act as a resource to help ensure the organization’s compliance with agreement requirements, procedures, and policies while providing appropriate guidance and oversight.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
The Contracts and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
Proposal Review: Conduct an initial review of Requests for Proposals, (RFPs) and Requests for Application, (RFAs) to interpret and determine compliance feasibility.
Contract Review: Conduct an initial review of all client proposed edits to BSR template agreements, contractor proposed edits to sub-contracts, and subsequent amendments. Provides guidance to staff on contractual matters and sends contracts via DocuSign, if requested(e)Assists in negotiating terms that meet BSR’s legal and administrative needs.
Grant and Contract Compliance: Ensure project teams are aware and understand the important terms and conditions of grant agreements. Schedule and prepare for kick-off compliance meetings and 6-month compliance check-ins with grant project teams to review compliance items(e)Provide guidance on details of reporting requirements in the contractual terms with BSR staff, project partners and contractors to ensure compliance.
Due diligence reporting: Lead in the preparation of organizational due diligence responses to RFPs and RFAs, and periodic requests from BSR members.
Contractor set-up, review and approval: Guide engagement team members through BSR’s contractor hiring process(e)Train staff on how to enter contractors into Salesforce, liaise with HR to complete background checks, ensure contractors submit all required forms, and review and approve contractor requests.
