Your Mission
The Pro Marketplace business unit is on a mission to aggregate professional supply on BlaBlaCar in order to better address the wide range of passengers’ needs.
Our current main focus is the bus market in CEE & LATAM regions, where more than 80% of bus tickets are still sold offline(e)We aim to transform these markets, making them digital for customers, and technologically advanced as well as convenient for bus carriers and partners.
As part of the Pro Marketplace Strategy & Data team, you will directly contribute to the growth of the business unit, with a stronger focus on - but not limited to - our Brazilian market.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out analyses to identify growth levers and to support data driven decision-making across different teams
- Conduct various studies to size the market and look for new trends, understand competition and our customers to build a basis for our strategies and tactics
- Share your analyses and recommendations to a wide multidisciplinary audience & support their implementation
- Support cross-team projects that will accelerate the growth of our Pro marketplace activity across the world (data, pricing, passenger experience, etc.)
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the business unit processes & analytical infrastructure
Your Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in business analytics in-house or as a consultant(e)Experience in a startup, scale-up, or internet company is a significant plus
- Good business acumen and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and “outside the box”
- Strong communication skills, ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders, and enjoy sharing and learning from others
- Strong Excel and presentation skills(e)Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau/Google Data Studio etc.) and SQL is a plus
- Basic knowledge of statistics and financial concepts
- Fluency in English required, Portuguese is a strong plus
