SCOPE AND CHALLENGES :
As a Bi Engineer, you will be part of a Squad, dedicated to build and manage data products, provide trainings, guidelines and MM data expertise so our users fully leverage our data products

- DATA SOURCE : Kafka, Amazon S3, Google Analytics, Snowplow, MariaDB/PostgreSQL
- DATA WAREHOUSE : Snowflake, AirflowDATA
- VIZ : Qlik Sense, Tableau
- MACHINE LEARNING : Python, Jupyter Notebook
- DATA EXPLOITATION : Metabase

TEAM & CONTEXT :
As a data team we have 2 missions :
1(e)Deliver the best-in-class robust, reliable and self-serve, governed data platform that enables MM to be a data driven company and to deliver new business models(e)
To achieve that we have 6 core teams :
- Data Platform
- Data Science
- Data Governance
- Tracking
- Scraping
- Academy
2(e)Build and manage data products for ManoMano product tribes.
For that we have 6 Squads data :
- Squad B2C : Help customer discover what they need (Main KPI : add to cart rate)
- Squad B2B : Transform the DIY marketplace to help construction entrepreneur to run their business (main KPI: B2B repurchase rate)
- Squad Catalog : Provide the best experience to sell a product
- Squad Buyer : Offer the most seamless and reassuring buying (main KPI: NPS and Funnel Conversion Rate)
- Squad Financial Performance : Measure overall ManoMano performance and financial health
- Squad Sellers : Provide the best experience to our sellers to grow their business (main KPI: seller revenues)
As a BI Engineer,
- You will be working within the Data Buyer Team composed of Data and BI Engineers(e)
- Your main mission will be to build and manage best in class data products to provide reliable and qualitative analytical data on our buying processes(e)
- Your main users will be : internal ManoMano Buyer teams so they can take data driven business decisions and deliver new business models
YOUR DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work closely with buyer business owners and other data teams to propose and implement the best BI solution to their analytical needs
- Develop and Maintain best-in class data products (datamarts in Snowflake / dashboards in Qlik Sense)
- Apply our BI best practices and dev rules in terms of versioning, code quality, testing & deployment
- Provide self-service support and trainings to ManoMano BI users
- Participate to our BI Community by sharing your work and learnings
- Communicate in a timely manner with your Squad about important information, alerts, etc(e)Ask for help everytime you need it, and be a fast learner
PROFILE
MUST HAVE :
- You are interested in working on building analytical solutions with data warehouse and data viz technologies (similar to Airflow (as orchestrator), Snowflake, Qlik Sense)
- You have knowledge in SQL
- You are kind, thoughtful and have a natural ability to get things done.
- You qualify yourself as an “achiever”
- You are fluent in English, French will be a plus
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in working with e-commerce data
- Experience in working with SAFE or agile methodology
- Technical skills on our data tools (Kafka, Amazon S3, Google Analytics, Snowflake, Airflow, Qlik Sense)
