Founded in 2017, Ovrsea is a new generation freight forwarder that uses technology to simplify and optimize international transportation for companies(e)We support more than 600 companies such as Engie, Vinci, Devialet, Sézane or even Nuxe across 60 countries in their international freight transport.

We allow our customers to manage all their transport issues in a few clicks from our web interface, from quotation to invoicing, by digitizing the entire transport tracking experience(e)We have also developed an in-house platform to facilitate the operational management of our clients’ transport needs in order to meet their requirements in record time.

Since January 2021, we have joined forces with the Bolloré Group to accelerate our development(e)We want to double the size of our workforce and have already recruited 50 employees in 2021(e)By the end of 2022, we want to open 4 new offices internationally and thus expand on the international market!

The Sales Team:

Sales are the architects of growth at OVRSEA: they build long-lasting commercial relationships with our customers, importing or exporting companies located in more than 40 countries around the world(e)They have to meet the complex needs of companies in various sectors such as cosmetics, high-tech, metallurgy, retail or fine chemicals.

As an Account Manager SMBs, you will join the Sales team in the Account Management division and you will work in collaboration with Gautier, Head of AM team and alongside Camille, Romain, Charles, Johanna and Nicolas.

You will however be the first of this AM SMBs team, with two great challenges to face:

1) help shape this new dimension of the Account Management team, through specific processes and a hands-on approach

2) Manage one of the most strategic portfolio of OVRSEA, and be able to quickly identify who will be our superstar clients tomorrow(e)You will have a key impact on the growth we will experience in the coming years

Your missions will be divided as follows:

👉 Account management (70%)

* You will be the main contact for your clients (existing accounts) and will maintain excellent relations with them by offer them the best service.
* You propose solutions adapted to the needs of your clients, in close collaboration with our operational teams
* You develop an action plan to expand our presence within your accounts by identifying and proposing expansion or upsell opportunities

👉 Structure the Account Management department (30%)

* You bring best practices in supporting customer accounts and inspire the team on these topics
* You will be responsible for the development of a culture of automation and continuous improvement on a 40-50 client’s portfolio
* You propose and implement follow-up and business review processes for all types of customers

The team’s challenges for 2022

* Develop the AM team from 3 to 12 people in one year
* Feed Ovrsea’s international development through our client’s subsidiaries and partners
* Guide a transition to a contractual model in order to make their Supply Chain more reliable
* Develop a strong business expertise to be recognized as essential for our customers

Requirements

  • You have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as Sales, in AM or AE
  • You have already made complex B2B sales
  • You are able to manage a 4M€ portfolio, in autonomy
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills
  • You are organized to handle around 50 existing accounts
  • You have a hunting and persuasive mindset with strong interest in customer care and pedagogy
  • You are fluent in French and English

Recruitment process

  • HR call with Zoé (30 min)
  • 1st video interview with Gautier (our Head of AM) and one Account manager (1h00)
  • 2nd video interview containing an oral business case with David (VP Sales) and Gautier (1h00)
  • Speed recruiting : 4x30 mins meetings with team members in our offices, including Arthur (CEO & Co-founder)
  • The final proposal! 🙌
